The Dibrugarh Branch (EIRC) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) successfully organised the S. Vaidyanath Aiyar Memorial Lecture on Artificial Intelligence on 14th January 2026, on the theme “AI Updates for Chartered Accountants: Tools, Trends, and Real-World Use Cases.” The programme was conducted as a capacity-building initiative for members in practice and industry, with special emphasis on young Chartered Accountants, recognising the increasing relevance of Artificial Intelligence in the evolving professional environment.
The technical session was delivered by CA. Pankaj Jain, Guwahati, who shared practical insights on contemporary AI tools, emerging trends, and real-world applications relevant to audit, taxation, compliance, and professional efficiency.
