The Dibrugarh Branch (EIRC) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India organised a special felicitation programme as part of the 75 Years Celebrations of ICAI, honouring senior members aged 75 years and above.

The occasion marked a meaningful tribute to their lifelong dedication and exemplary contribution to the Chartered Accountancy profession. On this special occasion, the Branch felicitated CA Hari Narayan Yadav and CA Sarvan Kumar Tibrewal, acknowledging their commitment, integrity, and enduring service to the profession.

Event Highlights

• The Dibrugarh Branch (EIRC) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India successfully organised a 3-hour CPE Seminar on Ethical Standards on 18th December 2025 at the ICAI Dibrugarh Branch premises.
• The seminar was conducted on the topic “Overview of recent proposed changes in the Code of Ethics and important aspects of the Code of Ethics”, highlighting its relevance in the current regulatory and professional environment.
• The programme witnessed encouraging participation from members, reflecting the profession’s continued emphasis on ethical conduct and compliance.
• The session was delivered by CA Bisworanjan Sutar, RCM, EIRC and Ex-Officio Member of the Dibrugarh Branch, who shared valuable insights on proposed amendments to the Code of Ethics, practical challenges faced by professionals, and related compliance implications.
