Career Counselling Programme at Delhi Public School, Dibrugarh

The Dibrugarh Branch of the Eastern India Regional Council (EIRC) of ICAI successfully organized a Career Counselling Programme at Delhi Public School (DPS), Dibrugarh under the guidance of the Committee on Career Counselling, ICAI New Delhi.

The session, held for students of Classes IX to XII, focused on helping them understand the wide-ranging opportunities in the Chartered Accountancy profession. The event aimed to guide young minds towards a career path rooted in purpose, discipline, and excellence.

The highlight of the programme was an engaging session by CA. Satish Jalan, a nationally acclaimed academician, rank-holder in both CA and CS, and a Chartered Management Accountant (UK). Known for mentoring over 80,000 students across India, CA Jalan delivered an inspiring address that combined storytelling with practical insights. He urged students to visualize their futures, use the power of imagination, and align their career choices with personal strengths.

Adding a deeply personal touch, CA. Sanjay Jain, Pro-Vice Chairman of DPS Dibrugarh, shared his motivational journey—emphasizing the role of ethics, focus, and dedication in achieving success. His words resonated deeply with students and faculty alike, highlighting the transformational power of the CA profession.
