About the Dibrugarh Branch

Established in the year 2014, the Dibrugarh Branch of the Eastern India Regional Council (EIRC) of ICAI has grown into a dynamic hub for chartered accountants across Upper Assam. With over 160 members, primarily in practice, and more than 350 CA students, the branch plays a vital role in professional development, student education, and ethical leadership in the region.

Our reach goes beyond Dibrugarh, catering to professionals and students from towns like Duliajan, Moran, Chabua, Sivasagar, and Tinsukia. The branch also serves as an ICAI examination center at DHSK Commerce College, attracting candidates from multiple districts of Assam.

Since 2015, we’ve hosted a wide array of programs including CPE seminars, career counseling sessions, yoga and fitness events, and student mentorship initiatives under EICASA.

Operating from rented premises since 2015, the ICAI Dibrugarh Branch offers a welcoming, modern, and fully equipped environment for both members and aspiring chartered accountants. Our facilities are thoughtfully designed to support academic, professional, and community needs.

Grand Conference Hall

Our air-conditioned conference hall spans 600 sq.ft., ideal for meetings, training sessions, and special branch events. It’s equipped with modern sound systems and projection facilities.

Student Study Lounge

We provide a quiet, well-lit study area dedicated to CA students. With ergonomic seating, peaceful ambiance, and uninterrupted internet access, it’s the perfect environment for exam preparation and focused learning.

Resource-Rich Library

The library houses a curated collection of ICAI publications, reference books, periodicals, and e-learning materials. It is regularly updated to support both academic needs , professional and students.

Office & Reception Area

Our reception area ensures smooth visitor management. The Chairman’s Office is a hub for planning, and coordination of all branchlevel professional & student initiatives.

E-Learning & Webinar Facilities

Our premises are equipped for hosting webinars, online training sessions &meetings. High-speed internet, smart screens, and digital engagement with members across locations.

Clean & Accessible Amenities

We maintain clean, hygienic restrooms, a small refreshment zone, and parking space. All areas are designed to be accessible and welcoming to members, students, guests, and event attendees.

Highly Commendable Performance & Regional Leadership

Honoured with the Highly Commendable Performance Award (Micro Category) by EIRC, and under the leadership of Chairman CA. Bhawani Poddar, ranked as the 3rd Best Branch in EIRC (Micro Category) at the EIRC Awards 2015.

Back-to-Back Regional Excellence

Led by Chairman CA. Navin Jain, the branch was awarded the Best Branch in EIRC (Micro Category) at the EIRC Awards 2014, marking a strong legacy of consistent performance and leadership.
