Event Overview
As part of the 77th Chartered Accountants’ Day celebrations, the Dibrugarh Branch of EIRC of ICAI organized a social welfare initiative under the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan on 1st July 2025. Held at Surajmal Balika Siksha Sadan in Dibrugarh, the programme focused on menstrual hygiene awareness and sanitary pad distribution for schoolgirls.
More than 140 packets of sanitary pads were distributed to students from Classes 8, 9, and 10, accompanied by an informative session that addressed menstrual health, hygiene practices, and efforts to eliminate the associated social stigma. The event served as a strong reminder of the ICAI’s commitment to community welfare and youth sensitization.

The Dibrugarh Branch celebrated CA Day 2025 with purpose by conducting a meaningful social impact activity centered around menstrual hygiene awareness. In line with the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, the initiative aimed to support underprivileged adolescent girls by providing not just sanitary products, but also education and encouragement.
