Welcome to the official website of the Dibrugarh Branch of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website and the services offered through it, including registration and payment for webinars, seminars, and other professional events.
By accessing this website or using any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use this website.
1. Use of the Website
This website is intended for use by ICAI members, students, and the public to access event information, register for programs, and make secure payments. You agree not to misuse the website, hack into systems, or attempt unauthorized access to any data.
2. Event Registration
Users can register for online/offline events hosted by ICAI Dibrugarh Branch by filling out the registration form and making a payment through our integrated payment gateway (Razorpay).
It is the responsibility of the registrant to ensure that correct details are provided. The Branch will not be responsible for any issues arising due to incorrect information submitted by the user.
Registration is confirmed only after successful payment, and a confirmation email will be sent to the registered email address.
3. Payments
All payments for event registrations must be made online through our secure payment gateway.
Prices listed for events are in Indian Rupees (INR) and inclusive of applicable taxes unless mentioned otherwise.
ICAI Dibrugarh Branch is not responsible for payment failures due to issues on the user’s end or at the bank/payment gateway level.
4. Conduct During Events
Participants are expected to maintain decorum and professional behavior during events. Disruptive behavior, abusive language, or any actions that interfere with the smooth conduct of the event may lead to removal without any refund.
5. Intellectual Property
All event materials, presentations, videos, logos, and content are the intellectual property of ICAI Dibrugarh Branch or respective speakers and may not be reproduced, copied, or redistributed without written permission.
6. Changes to Events
ICAI Dibrugarh Branch reserves the right to postpone, reschedule, or cancel any event due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, alternate dates or options may be provided.
7. Limitation of Liability
The Branch is not liable for:
Loss or damage caused by technical glitches, server failures, or disruptions during virtual events.
Any personal loss, injury, or indirect damages arising from the use of this website or participation in events.
8. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with Indian law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Dibrugarh, Assam.
